We are sure that many of you are closely monitoring the situation around COVID-19 and are no doubt aware of government restrictions currently in place on gatherings and events.
The safety of our guests is paramount and we have therefore taken the difficult decision to postpone this year’s Constructing Excellence Yorkshire and Humber Awards.
The awards will now take place on the evening of Wednesday 7th October 2020 (put it in the diary folks!). The timings, venue, theme are all the same as before and all current bookings will be transferred over to the new date.
The CEYH team are absolutely committed to delivering these awards which we know are a highlight for many of our network and an opportunity to shine a spotlight on what our industry does well and reward our hard working teams for delivering these often critical build and infrastructure projects. We feel that by October we hope to be through the worst of the impact and will welcome the opportunity to bring our network together for a celebration of the built environment’s contribution.
If for any reason we are unable to deliver a physical ceremony on the 7th, we will still be doing a full judging process and allocating regional winners so please do keep those entries coming in . We have also decided to extend the entry period to give people sufficient time to complete a submission.
The new deadline for entries will be Tuesday 26th May 2020.
