We are delighted to announce the full list of companies and projects who have made the shortlist for the 2020 awards. This year has presented a lot of challenges for individuals and businesses and it has been really great to see our regional industry working hard to keep standards and the level of innovation high.

Organised by the School of Built Environment, Engineering and Computing at Leeds Beckett University, the Constructing Excellence Yorkshire and Humber Awards (#CEYH2020) focus attention on some of the most important issues in the construction sector. They recognise the very best companies, collaborations and projects sharing best practice and inspiring others to adopt new and better ways of working that deliver outstanding results.
Managed by a passionate and forward thinking team, our awards continue to grow year on year elevating the profile of the companies involved. LAUNCHING OUR #CEYH2020 CHARITY APPEAL FOR WHEATFIELDS HOSPICE
Every year we use the evening of our Constructing Excellence awards dinner to raise funds for a regional charity. Unfortunately as we are now moving our ceremony online due to COVID19, we have lost the opportunity to collect much needed funds in the room. We are therefore launching an online campaign with the hope of raising the same, if not more, for this year’s charity, Wheatfields Hospice.
Many charities are suffering at the moment having had their shops closed and traditional fundraising activities curtailed so it is now even more important to support them to keep going. Hospices have had a signficant role to play in the pandemic, providing dignity, care, compassion and bereavement support to families, all while working under some very challenging conditions. We have our own personal reasons for choosing Wheatfields, please visit our page to hear our story.
To donate, just click on the button above or at the link below. Donations can be made anonymously if you would prefer. Please add gift aid as it doesn’t cost you anything more and will add to the charity’s overall total.
We know that giving to charity is very much a personal decision but if everyone who has ever attended our dinner donated what they would normally do on the evening then we know we could reach our target.
