CONSTRUCTING EXCELLENCE YORKSHIRE AND HUMBER 2021 AWARDS

Our judges have spent the best part of a month reviewing your entries and we are pleased to say that the standard is extremely high once again. We have projects representing each of our sub-regions and different facets of the industry from scaffolding, to infrastructure and consultancy and even projects which directly addressed the challenges and needs of COVID. Dress Code: The dress code is formal black tie but we are encouraging our guests to get involved with this year’s theme which is Mardi Gras – think feathers, beads, masks and plenty of purple, gold and green! As always there is no obligation to join in with the theme and regular black tie is also fine.

After a very difficult year for many people, we are aiming to bring physical events back with a bang! We are serving up a carnival atmosphere at this year’s awards, taking inspiration from the colour and sounds of New Orleans Mardi Gras festival. As always we have a few surprises up our sleeves but we can guarantee that you and your guests will receive our unique blend of excellent hospitality, professional hosting and unique staging and theming. We encourage our guests to get involved in the theme and this year is a great one; we are expecting masks, feathers, beads and plenty of purple, gold and green!

The costs for attending our ceremony are as follows;

Individual Booking = £100 + VAT (£120.00)

Table Booking = £950 + VAT (£1140.00)

Prices include  a networking drinks reception, a three course meal, the awards ceremony itself and our special entertainment for the evening.

Terms and Conditions

  1. Full payment required within 30 days of invoice issued.
  2. Cancellation at any point results in loss of full amount.

COVID 19

The safety of our guests is paramount and we are monitoring the guidelines around mass events on a weekly basis and can ensure our guests we will be complying with any associated rules. Please note we will be putting in the following safety measures;

  • Tables will be appropriately spaced to allow for maximum separation between tables.
  • Hand Sanitizer will be available at stations around the venue all night.
  • We will be monitoring numbers in the drinks reception and will allow groups to move through to their tables early.
  • Mask wearing is not obligatory but we encourage our guests to wear a mask if they wish to, particularly if they are moving between tables (Please note: if the government chooses to make wearing a mask mandatory then we will be enforcing this for our dinner. We thank you for your cooperation in this matter).

All packages include a table of ten at our dinner, pre and post event publicity, and an opportunity to present an award on the evening.   • Category sponsorships are only £550 more on top of the cost of a table and for all that you get the following;
  • Constant display of your logo in our regular awards mail shots, awards literature and CEYH/SOBEC website.
  • Regular announcements of your sponsorship and involvement via CEYH/SOBEC social media
  • Full page company ad in the event brochure to be distributed to every guest on the evening

INTRODUCING OUR 2021 CHARITY

Every year we use the evening of our Constructing Excellence awards dinner to raise funds for a regional charity. We are delighted to announce that this year we will be partnering with specialist Construction charity, the Lighthouse Club, to support them as the industry moves forward from the challenges of the last eighteen months.

About

The Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity is the only charity that provides emotional, physical and financial wellbeing support to construction workers and their families. They receive no public funding and rely on the generosity of those within in the industry to help them continue their vital work. A crucial element of their strategy is to provide a range of free and widely available pro-active resources to support the industry. They provide a free and confidential 24/7 Construction Industry Helpline which is a free Employee Assistance Programme for the industry. Whether you’re an employer or an employee, the helpline provides the first point of contact for those who need to access a range of completely confidential support services.
