Constructing Excellence Yorkshire and Humber (#CEYH2020) awards are back for a new decade!

Please join us for our official launch event where we will be outlining some key changes for the 2020 awards followed by a question and answer session with a selection of our judges.

The judges will be there to give tips and advice on what they look for in a winning entry as well as providing hints, tips and tricks for ensuring a successful submission.

The awards organising team will also be on hand to answer any practical questions about the awards processes as well as provide details of the evening itself.

Drinks and nibbles will be provided.

Let’s get Quizzical this Christmas!

Venue: Head of Steam | Park Row, Leeds * *there are two Head of Steam pubs in Leeds, please make sure you come to the one which is situated on the corner of Park Row and Bond Street.

Constructing Excellence Yorkshire and Humber, thinkBIM, G4C Yorkshire, YHCE Club and CIOB Leeds have joined forces this December to bring you a special Christmas Quiz Extravaganza!

 

Come and test your knowledge at our festive quiz in Leeds which will feature general knowledge questions on anything and everything set by our very own Father Quizmas, Tom Oulton.

 

How it works

 

We are inviting organisations to bring teams of between 4-6 individuals at a cost of £20 per team, payable in cash on the night. We will have several rounds of quizzing with prizes being awarded throughout the night!

 

Festive attire is optional but definately encouraged!

 

Please note, there is no food and drink provided but these can all be purchased from the Head of Steam.

Crash a practical charity that assists homelessness and hospice charities with construction related projects, creating places that care for people.

ARE YOU READY TO STAND OUT FROM THE CROWD?

Constructing Excellence Yorkshire and Humber (CEYH) are delighted to announce the return of our annual awards spectacular! Organised by the School of Built Environment and Engineering at Leeds Beckett University, the CEYH awards focus attention on some of the most important issues in the construction sector. They recognise the very best companies, collaborations and projects sharing best practice and inspiring others to adopt new and better ways of working that deliver outstanding results.

All types of organisations enter our awards each year; private and public sector, micro, SME and large contractors, designers, consultants, clients and suppliers – in fact anyone and everyone that is part of construction’s extended family.

From all those entrants our judges select the very best projects, schemes and teams to go forward to represent the Yorkshire and Humber region at the national Constructing Excellence Awards in November.

The collapse of #Carillion earlier this year continues to send reverberations around the sector, prompting renewed calls for a fundamental shift in the way contracts are procured, planned and delivered. Yes – we’ve been hear before with Egan and Latham but how can we ensure this time things are different?
