Behavioural change, Digital Toolkit, those PDTs again and #BIM Beers at our #GreenBIM Construction & Assembly Conference
On 1st April the Centre for Knowledge Exchange (CKE) once again brought together its thinkBIM & Green Vision networks at Squire Patton Boggs in Leeds in a half day #greenBIM conference themed on how effective use of data can lead to greener outcomes for buildings and their occupants.
The assembled audience were treated to a presentation on behavioural change, a whistle stop tour of the new NBS BIM toolkit (a whole week before those at BIM Show Live), on overview of BIM implmentation in Copenhagen, two round table discussion sessions & a Pecha Kucha showcase which seamlessly blended laser scanning, funding support for BIM adoption, Biomimicry & green materials. The event was chaired by Su Butcher, hereafter referred to as the first lady of social media, and was rounded off with a curry and of course #BIMbeers. The conversation and the beer was flowing (almost too well at one point, thanks Duncan for saving the day there, not to mention Squire’s very nice carpets!). The day produced a phenomenal amount of content which we couldn’t possibly squeeze all in to one post so here is our summary of what happened with more posts to follow!
