Resources: The Golden Thread

On Thursday 24th March 2022, we kicked off our series of 2022 events with an afternoon webinar on the Golden Thread. The Building Regulations Advisory Committee (BRAC) defines the Golden Thread as follows;

‘The golden thread is both the information that allows you to understand a building and the steps needed to keep both the building and people safe, now and in the future’.

Whilst we can all understand why the Golden Thread is so important to our industry, our stakeholders and end users, this webinar explored how our industry can move from printing out data sheets and drawings at handover to creating, checking, validating and managing digital information for the lifecycle of an asset?
