He is passionate about Yorkshire and believes it is a privilege to work and live here.
He has received countless awards. His most precious was the MBE given to him for services to Broadcasting in June 2013.Last year he won the prestigious Royal Television Society Regional Presenter of the Year which in the business is regarded as the big one. He plans to work a little longer hopefully with the BBC( but adds you never take anything for granted!)and is heavily involvedin numerous charities which are close to his heart. He is thrilled to be presenting the G4C awards for the first time and sharing in the celebrations.
