The school of built environment, engineering and computing are growing their provision for degree apprenticeships and are looking to recruit dedicated and talented individuals to a number of key roles to support this important part of their development strategy.

Head of Degree Apprenticeship

Grade 9 (£51,034 to £60,905)

Closing Date: 06.07.2021

The School of Built Environment, Engineering and Computing is looking to recruit a high calibre Head of Degree Apprenticeship. The post is responsible for the line management of the apprenticeship team in the School and lead the delivery of the School’s suite of degree apprenticeship courses. You will be highly experienced with a demonstrable track record of success in managing and developing degree apprenticeships.

The role will include managing all aspects of the school’s apprenticeship documentation, monitoring progress and contributing information about apprenticeship development to meetings or for inclusion in reports or committee papers as well as more broadly supporting the delivery of milestones. You will have the passion and drive to ensure that all programmes and modules on our apprenticeship courses deliver inspiring teaching, learning and assessment, resulting in an excellent experience for both apprentices and their employers.

Degree Apprenticeship Assessors – 5 posts available, 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Grade 6 (£34,804 to £39,152)

The School of Built Environment, Engineering and Computing of Leeds Beckett University wishes to appoint a team of Degree Apprenticeship Assessors (in Civil Engineering, Building Services engineering, Chartered Surveyors, Chartered Town Planners and Digital Technology). The appointees will support the development and delivery of our apprenticeship courses for people wishing to pursue apprenticeship in these named apprenticeship courses.

There are five posts available as follows;

Civil Engineering – 2 posts

-Building Services Engineering – 1 post

-Surveying and Construction – 1 post

-Computing/Digital and Technology Solutions DA – 0.5 fte post

-Town and Regional Planning – 0.5fte post

Degree Apprenticeship Co-ordinator

Grade 4 (£25,941 to £30,046)

Closing 25.06.2021

The post holder will provide administrative support for our Degree Apprenticeship courses delivered in the School across areas in Civil Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Surveying, Real Estate, Project Management, Computing and Town & Regional Planning. Duties will include the coordination of School’s apprenticeship provision, compiling and analysing data from University Systems for Senior Management, monitoring key activities of the provision and working with the Head of Degree Apprenticeships.
